The Alcove After Dark

Rumbarroco and La Donna Musicale join The Alcove for its first annual After Dark, an evening celebrating the lives and legacies of women and gender expansive people.
The trio plays a short acoustic set of music written by women, drawn from the Baroque and from Latin American song. Voice, Venezuelan harp, viola da gamba and guitars, with no amplification.
Rumbarroco and La Donna Musicale are donating this performance in support of The Alcove’s mission.

About the evening
The Alcove After Dark marks a year of The Alcove. The evening includes food and drinks, a live portrait experience, musical performers, and time to reconnect with friends and meet new ones.
Proceeds help secure the future of a community space built for the people who use it.
